Nundle
15th - 17th February 2008

Short weekend away to check out some suggested campsites near Nundle. We camped at Sheba Dam (free) about 11 km east of Nundle. A nice spot beside the dam but not many level sites. Visited the Woollen Mill and a small mining museum. Checked out an alternative route via Barry, but a small eroded creek crossing would need careful attention. We will check it out again some time later when we are better prepared for a possible recovery. There are several other camping areas around Nundle which are worth checking out.
