Woko National Park
24th - 26th November 2006

Woko National Park is located 35km north of Gloucester via Curricabark Road off Thunderbolts Way. This is a lovely camp spot beside the Manning River. There are two walks to do.... an easy short one and a strenuous one that climbs up the mountain. I actually climbed too far up the hill because I missed the dog-leg turn and only found it when descending again. Both times that we have stayed here, the grass has been very long which detracts a bit from the beauty of the place. The other downside of the park is that it sits below a hill that blocks the sun until well into mid-morning. On one trip, we stayed until 1pm before the canvas had dried enough to pack up.
